W.L. Dueck & Co. LLP’s practice is limited to US and cross-border tax matters working principally with Canadian business and investment in the US and US citizens resident in Canada and their legal and their financial advisors.

After eight years as Ernst & Young Vancouver’s US tax partner and prior to that with KPMG in Seattle and Vancouver specializing in US tax matters, Warren Dueck founded W.L. Dueck & Co. LLP in 1998. He was joined by Steven Flynn, also an Ernst & Young alumnus, shortly thereafter. In 2009 Laura McLeman joined the firm. Ms. McLeman co-founded Kennedy McLeman Kroeker Chartered Accountants in Calgary and has devoted her practice to US and Canadian tax matters since 1996.

The firm’s focus on US and cross-border tax matters has allowed development of innovative strategies and experience that attracts clients from across Canada and the US. The firm works with their clients and tax, legal and accounting professionals to develop tax solutions and assist individual and business clients with their tax preparation requirements in Canada and the US.
